Air compressed treatment
In the industrial world, more and more customers are demanding an excellent compressed air quality, used in production processes, but also for the air blowing on workbenches. In recent years the evolution of the compressors has brought many changes and thanks to new technologies, we now have a wide range of products available. This products as activated alumina, molecular sieve and silica gel, called adsorbent materials, are adapted to the treatment of air.
These particular products, called desiccant materials, have been introduced and used in the regeneration dryers, also known as adsorption dryers, which are increasingly replacing the old conception of refrigerated dryers.
Why?
- Because in the refrigerated dryers, the dew point reaches a maximu, of +3°C
- Because these desiccant materials, the molecular sieves, activated alumina or silica gel, allow this kind of adsorption dryers to have a pressure dew point of up to -70 ° C.
This gives us the chance to have more and more efficient production processes, and no contamination of the final products, also using adequate filtration systems.
Other aspects that characterize the quality and the technical innovation of these adsorbent materials supplied by us, are the high durability, the low load loss of pressure and the high friction resistance that is caused by the passage of the compressed air flow.
Nitrogen generation by PAS
The self-generation of nitrogen, also referred to as generation of nitrogen, is becoming more and more in common use in industries. This is thanks to Nitrogen generators that use PSA technology, or “Pressure Swing Adsorption”.
Why?
- Because it is possible to produce nitrogen at low cost, with the desired purity and in the required quantity
- Because it is possible to eliminate the exorbitant purchase costs of liquid nitrogen and all risks arising from the systems where it is contained
All this is possible using the carbon molecular sieves, which provide outstanding performance and great reliability, separating the compressed nitrogen from the air and making it ready for use through the adsorption process, used also for other purposes.
The carbon molecular sieves that we provide have specific characteristics that denote the high quality, the wear resistance and so the durability in time, which make them also economically competitive.
